Dr. George F. Daman, D.V.M. is a general practice veterinarian taking care of small, large and exotic animals in Eureka, Missouri and the surrounding areas.  Offering both in-office visits and home/farm calls and he truly is the "country vet" that brings quality and compassion to your doorstep. 

Holding a veterinary degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, "Doc" Daman, as the locals call him, provides above and beyond quality care.  

Fun Fact: For those Western Lovers out there - you should know that Dr. George F. Daman. D.V.M. holds current veterinarian licenses in the states of Missouri, Texas and New Mexico.   

Additional Work History:

Dr. George F. Daman, DVM worked as a traveling veterinarian traversing between New Mexico and Texas providing medical care and compassion along the way in 1970 to 1971.  He has always kept all three veterinary licenses active in Missouri, New Mexico and Texas. From 1971 to 1972 be worked for the Humane Society of Missouri prior to opening his own practice.

March 5th, 1973 is when he started his true love, the Eureka Veterinary Clinic and has been going strong ever since. He even oversaw the operations of a grooming shop next to Eureka Vet for several years called the Pet Stop.  The Pet Shop had pink promotional jackets which are still worn by his family members for nostalgia.

Community Involvement

Dr. George Daman has given countless lectures on poultry at local community colleges such as Jefferson College, Hillsboro. He even spoke at LaSalle Springs Middle School about the proper care of chickens to help encourage young minds and inspire them in this field of study.

Professionally, for many years Partners in Education (PIE) asked Dr. Daman to speak at their career days event at Eureka High School to share with young students his experience as a veterinarian.  He even has a few students shadow him for a short period to better get an idea of the practice.

At the college level, local vet students from Jefferson College are allowed to intern at EVC to learn hands-on skills in the field. Many of these students have then gone on to become veterinarians and vet techs after working side by side with Dr. Daman.
